Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) is an international business enterprise. MC develops and operates businesses together with its offices and subsidiaries in some 90 countries. In addition, it includes a global network of nearly 1,700 group companies.
The inspiration for the project was based on the idea of an open, minimalist space, reflecting Japanese tradition and values.
Simple straight lines with well-articulated and stylized spatial divisions.
Nature is of great significance, so it was important to reflect the outside light within the space and use lighting to enhance it where necessary, in order to create harmony and balance within the space.
We used primary materials — concrete, wood, metal, glass, and stone.
We created a central space to house the kitchen area.
To place the emphasis on this space we created a feature ceiling design to add a powerful and inspiring tone.
